I often refer to this book in my presentations:
It's a great guide for parents and teachers who feel overwhelmed by the online world. It doesn't offer any great strategies or best practices for keeping your kids safe (as the title implies), but what it does is help you get up to speed with the terminology and concepts that are at the core of the Internet. It is a great starting place and a great reference guide for parents and educators who are trying to keep up with their kids. You can find it at Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/How-Protect-Your-Children-Internet/dp/0275994724/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259584639&sr=8-6.
Mike, your presentation last night was incredible. I didnt realize how much I DIDNT know. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak to these issues. You really should charge something for as great as your presentation is.
